If an owner dies without a will, the following will be required in order to transfer the interest to the rightful heirs:

1. 1.   A certified copy of the decedent’s death certificate.
   

2. 2.   Affidavit of Heirship/Descent, recorded in the county and state where the
      producing property is located.
   

3. 3.   Letters of administration.
   

4. 4.   The names and addresses of the legal heirs.
   

Along with a letter of instruction, mail these items to:
