When an owner of a Life Estate dies, the following will be required in order to transfer the interest to the rightful heirs:

1. 1.  A certified copy of the decedent’s death certificate.
   

2. 2.   The names, addresses and Social Security numbers of the individuals who own the
         remainder and who succeed to the interest.
   

Along with a letter of instruction, mail these items to:
