Blaine Elementary Playground

Rodney Sparks, Kentucky Well Tender, presented a $3,000 AOG check to Blaine Elementary for their preschool playground improvement project. As parent volunteers, Rodney and his wife, Thelma, were instrumental in helping to make the new playground a reality.

Arthritis Walk 2008

On a rainy Saturday morning, 20 members of Team ABARTA Oil & Gas gathered at Heinz Field to participate in the annual Arthritis Walk. Led by our fearless leader, Tracey Mulert, Team AOG raised an all-time high $16,132.25 by holding various fundraising activities such as a bake sale; pizza, hoagie and walking taco lunches; and a raffle with the chance to win two Pittsburgh Penguins playoff tickets; along with a matching contribution from the Adams Foundation. Each year the fundraising bar is raised higher by Jim Taylor, AOG’s President and CEO.

Arthritis Walk 2007

On Saturday, May 19, 2007, a group of AOG Pittsburgh office employees met at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh for a 5K walk to support the Arthritis Foundation Western PA Chapter. For two months, they solicited funds from co-workers, friends, relatives and building tenants in order to exceed their fundraising challenge. Including a matching donation from the Adams Foundation, and thanks to many generous donors, the team raised $10,257 for the Arthritis Foundation, more than twice what was raised the previous year.
